Despite being heavily disrupted in parts due to the global COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2020 Supercars Championship Season still managed to be run across 10 rounds and 27 races which was ultimately an incredible achievement for everyone involved in the series.
It was also a season where Cameron Waters and Monster Energy Racing really stepped up to be the leader of all the Tickford Racing cars and become a major championship threat. Waters’ was strong for much of the year, finishing with 9 podiums which included a race win along with a memorable 2nd place finish at Bathurst after starting on pole to finish in 2nd place in the drivers championship.
Interestingly, Waters’ 2020 race win came at the OTR SuperSprint at the Bend and was his first as a solo driver. Based on this milestone, we have opted to model the 2020 season car on the livery raced at this event.
