Zane Goddard joined Craig Lowndes, Bathurst 1000 seven-time champion, in Triple Eight’s endurance wildcard entry at this year’s Bathurst 1000 - thanks to backing from Supercheap Auto. Lowndes’s celebrated his 30th consecutive Bathurst 1000 in the Chevrolet Camaro #888, marking a major achievement for the legendary driver that also coincided with Bathurst’s 60th anniversary!
2023’s Great Race was definitely one for the record books! Despite only three safety cars, there was still drama with Broc Feeney's heart-breaking late gearbox issue and James Moffat's crash in the #6 Monster Energy Mustang. Van Gisbergen and Richie Stanaway dominated however, with van Gisbergen securing his fifth win of the season, to beat Kostecki by a hefty 19.9 seconds, while De Pasquale and D’Alberto finished third.
Lowndes hasn’t missed a Bathurst 1000 since he debuted as a 20-year-old and proudly kept up this tradition in the bright red #888 Camaro with yellow and white accents. The #888 wildcard looked amazing at Mt. Panorama and will look just as good in your collection in 1:43 scale! Boasting a expertly replicated sealed diecast body, and an intricately detailed livery with expertly matched colours featuring the logos of Australian Road Safety Foundation, Beyond Blue and Heart Kids.
Presented in clear display packaging, with a commemorative base plate, and numbered Certificate of Authenticity, Lowndes fans will be wild with anticipation to get their hand on this one! Buy now!
