Biante Model Cars are elated to announce the 1:18 #888 Holden VF Commodore V8 Supercar of Triple Eight Race Engineering’s Red Bull Racing, an exclusive replica model, raced to victory by Craig Lowndes and Steven Richards at the 2015 Bathurst 1000.

With fully opening parts in a diecast body, this 1:18 replica model summons memories of an action-packed race, ending in a thrilling VICTORY for Triple Eight Race Engineering! Presented in premium gold-detailed packaging with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity, this Supercar replica is a must-have for proud Holden fans and collectors alike!

The race was marred by several rib-rattling accidents that brought out the Safety Car, allowing 888 Red Bull to claw its way from deep in the mid-pack to take the win on a day that see-sawed between rain and sunshine. Drivers Craig Lowndes and Steven Richards swept to victory in the Bathurst 1000 after a superb drive from fifteenth on the grid! It was Lowndes' sixth win at the mountain and Richards' fourth and will prove to be one of the classics.

Three-time V8 series champion Lowndes started from 15th on the grid – his worst Bathurst qualifying performance. Yet Lowndes emerged with the lead in the pit-lane frenzy that followed the fourth and final safety car after Ford driver Scott Pye’s crash, setting up a final twenty lap sprint finish. By the final lap, Lowndes had established a three second lead over Winterbottom, who had overcome two black flag penalties for electrical gremlins that affected his brake lights. It gave Lowndes the chance to slow down and savor his final lap in front of his adoring fans on the mountain.
