About This Product:
Holden were arguably at the peak of their powers when the iconic Australian manufacturer launched the all-new VE Commodore platform - a car that quickly became a staple on our roads and, inevitably, in service with police forces and emergency departments around the country.
Victoria Police was among the many to adopt the VE for its Highway Patrol fleet, and we’re proud to present this impressive collectors model inspired by those very cars.
Using our detailed VE Commodore tooling as a base, this model features a range of modifications to capture the look and feel of a police vehicle. These enhancements include the distinctive roof-mounted light bar, front-mounted police spotlights, an updated interior, and of course, the instantly recognisable exterior Victoria Police graphics and signage. It should be noted, this model shouldn't be viewed as a 100% accurate replication, tooling constraints and the limited run of models set to be produced prohibited us from this outcome. However, it will none the less be close approximation and a very worthy addition for collectors.
Throughout the VE’s lifespan, Victoria Police and other state forces used a variety of colours in their patrol fleets — this edition replicates the striking Ignition Metallic orange of the S.M.A.R.T. (Special Mobile Anti Road Toll) Highway Patrol cars, making it a true standout.
