While there is still debate about the overall success of the Gen3 platform in Supercars, one thing is certain—when the new rules and regulations came into effect for the 2023 season, the latest iteration of the Mustang looked significantly better than its predecessor. The previous model, raced between 2019 and 2022, had to undergo extensive modifications to fit the existing chassis at the time. With a more aggressive stance and proportions that better reflect its road-going counterpart, the new Mustang is a far more faithful representation of the iconic muscle car.
